Very busy August!

August 14th, Nick turned 4!!!! That happened fast! He woke up and said he thought he'd be taller once he was 4. We had a Wacky Bounce party with a Spider Man theme. And a Cold Stone cake! Nick was in heaven!!!!!!

I had to post these next two pictures because the expressions on the mom's faces are priceless! No children were harmed in this photo shoot......

Nick on his actual birthday, playing with his Ipod!

Our good friend, Todd, celebrated his 40th birthday on Nicks birthday. We had a blast at Todd's place. Nick loved the go-cart and wanted me to drive it. When I told him I didn't know how, he told me "It's easy, I will show you."

Stephen, teaching Nick proper drumming technique.

Late August we spent a day at The Enchanted Forest. It was tons of fun, Nick is such a ride guy! He went on everything at least once, if not 10 times!

Learning how to lasso.

The water bumper car ride and the frog hopper ride were Nick two favorites. It was a fairly quiet day and the ride tech's let Nick stay on the rides as long as he wanted if there wasn't a line of kids waiting to get on.

August Nick funnies:

We went to Osborne Pool and Nick loved the twirly slide. Nick told me, " Mommy, you look so pretty in your swimsuit, your butt is really cute."

We were watching Sleeping Beauty and Nick said " Sleeping Beauty is my wife, but not for real....she's only in the movie."

The Big July

In July we went to Ontario, Oregon for our nephews wedding. He was the ring bearer in our wedding when he was 6 years old. Nick had the honor of being in Matt and Aubreys wedding as their ring bearer! The morning of the wedding, Mike took Nick to the dairy farm that Aunt Shelli works at. He got to bottle feed a baby cow and see a calf being born! But he was most excited about stepping in cow poop. Go figure.

Nick and the beautiful bride before the ceremony.

Chillin out waiting for photos.

Photo time!

Nick stayed with Monroe ring bearer tradition. He walked down the isle like he was supposed to, but lost the ring as he was sitting down in the front row. Luckily the best man noticed right away and fixed the problem! This is a tradition because Matt lost the ring off the pillow when he was ring bearer at our wedding. Except the ring rolled under my wedding dress. Great memories!

The wedding was beautiful, family was fun and we are always looking forward to the next wedding or reunion! We did take a vacation for a few days in Bend after the wedding, but somehow forgot to take even one photo! We played a lot of mini-golf and Nick had a lot of pool time at the Inn of the 7th Mountain resort.

May and June

June, The Little Gym Graduation Day. Mr. Blue eyes and his foam bat.

Saturday morning lounging! Like father, like son.

Mothers Day with my best boy!

Easter 2011

We hosted an Easter Party and had about 10 kids running around. They were cute! We decorated cookies and had a very quick egg hunt due to rain. What crazy person thought of this wonderful, fun and messy idea? See photo below.

I love all the expressions on their little faces!

Running up and down the stairs if fun.

Oh the little baby faces!

The Corvallis Country Club hosted another successful Easter Party equipped with a new Easter Bunny suit. Nick did NOT stalk the Easter Bunny this year! Total shock! He was more into the egg hunt and bounce house.

Decorating cookies.

The look on Nicks face is priceless. "You're really going to eat that cookie, Grampy?"

Nick and Jefferson checking out the Easter eggs as they are being hidden, they look like they are memorizing their locations and coming up with a game plan.

Easter morning cutie pie.
